Pastor Steve Small
Steve accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior as a young adult and his life was immediately changed as he embarked on God’s plan for his life. He completed his graduate study at Dallas Theological Seminary and through a seminary professor, he learned of a small fellowship of believers in Crandall — First Community Church — where he eventually became Pastor. By the grace of God, FCC has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving ministry. Steve is thankful for so many years of ministry at the same church to which God had originally called him.
Steve lives in Crandall with his wife and two children. He is actively involved in furthering the gospel throughout our community. He serves on the Board of Directors for Still Waters, a local non-profit, faith-based resource center for abstinence, crisis pregnancy, and abortion/sexual abuse recovery. He is involved with The Genesis Center, a local non-profit organization offering physical and spiritual services to victims of domestic violence. Steve also ministers as a volunteer chaplain at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Kaufman.
Each year I’m thankful for God’s goodness, and find myself in hopeful expectation of good things to come (Psalm 32:19).
